THE GEAR PLANNER
Credits
The Gear Planner is our own code, with one piece of outside code in it. This page names it, its licence, and how to check that the copy we serve is the published one.
javascript-lp-solver
The auto-fill and the best-in-slot lists find the best set with a linear programming solver, javascript-lp-solver version 1.0.3 by Justin W. Wolcott and contributors (github.com/JWally/jsLPSolver). It runs in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.
Licence: the Unlicense — released into the public domain by its authors.
What we changed: we serve the package's dist/solver.global.js as
/js/vendor/solver.js with two changes and nothing else: a comment at the top saying where
it comes from, and the file's last line (a pointer to a debugging map we do not serve) removed.
Checking it: the published file (npm package
javascript-lp-solver-1.0.3.tgz, package/dist/solver.global.js) has the
SHA-256 hash
de43d2253258d9295c8f00b21b9cb6715a38dbfdd192b06f7bf035e96e8fa1e3
and the file we serve, with our two changes, has

Pawn scale tags
Weights can be shared as Pawn scale tags, a short text format other tools read and write. The planner reads and writes that text format only; it uses no code from Pawn.
