Choosing a class

Roles, resources and swapping builds.

  1. Every specialisation has one role: tank, healer, support or damage. Support is a fourth Dungeon Finder role.
  2. Classes spend different resources. Some use rage, focus or a stack that builds as you play. Abilities with charges show the count on the button.
  3. You are not locked in: three specialisation slots per character.
  4. Open Character Advancement to see a class's web: press N to open Collections, then choose the Character Advancement tab.
  5. Check the Meta page (sign-in) for how specialisations rank in their role.
  6. The Classes page describes every way to play. Full ability lists are on the character-creation screen.
  7. Class trainers walk their home towns with companions at their heels, and a guard will point you to one on the map. Your Book of Conquest trains you wherever you are.
